The road to the 6th Engineering Partnerships Convention (EPC) kicked off with a successful media and stakeholder breakfast hosted by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). The event drew 75 key participants — including 45 exhibitors and partners — for an early morning session aimed at strengthening collaboration and aligning on the Board’s goals and upcoming initiatives.
The launch served as a platform to introduce the EPC’s vision and highlight expectations from partners ahead of the Convention. The session also attracted notable media attention, amplifying the campaign’s reach and message. In his keynote remarks, EBK Chair Eng. Erastus Mwongera emphasized the importance of collective action: “This is more than just an event. It’s a platform for dialogue, reflection, and partnership — bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and educators to strengthen Kenya’s engineering ecosystem. The progress we’ve achieved so far is thanks to the unwavering support of our stakeholders, staff, and Board members.”
Organizations represented at the launch included Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA), Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA), Willstone Homes, Isuzu East Africa, Sika Kenya, Kenya Power (KPLC), University of Nairobi (UoN), Kenyatta University (KU), and Konza Technopolis, among others.
