Am I Eligible For Membership With Engineers Board of Kenya?

How Do I make Payments of My Yearly Fees?

Upon obtaining the annual invoice for payment ensure to pay as per the invoice details in accordance with your registration number and category .The payment is made through eCitizen  https://ebk.ecitizen.go.ke/ .Choose Engineers Board of Kenya Services and retain evidence of payment to share with EBK accounts.

How Do I Resign My Membership?

A person may write a formal application to the Registrar on the request. Further Section 29 of the Act on Removal of persons from the Register (a) (viii) who requests that his name be removed from the Register, in which case that person may be required to satisfy the Board by way of an affidavit lodged with the Registrar that criminal proceedings under this Act are not being or are not likely to be taken against him.

I have completed my studies. Why am i still recorded as a student?

Student members who have completed an accredited undergraduate course may be eligible to apply for Graduate membership. Engineers Board of Kenya does not automatically upgrade you to Graduate membership, we require some supporting documents.

Can I become a volunteer?

Engineers Board of Kenya relies on a large number of active volunteers in many different areas including engineering events, professional development, colleges and technical societies, regional groups and special interest groups such as Young Engineers and Women in Engineering.

Why Is National ID Required With My Application?

A copy of your National ID is required to protect your identity when we handle queries and requests related to your own membership or registration. This identification enables us to establish better integrity of verification. A photo ID also helps us record the correct official name and date of birth.

You can also provide a colour scan of your passport bio-data page. If none of these are available, a copy of your Birth Certificate may be acceptable in lieu.
