The Engineers Stamp is a compliance tool that assist in authentication of engineering documents by the public and other users of engineering services including the registered engineer who did the design. This tool is granted to professional engineers being a licensed professional and consulting engineer.
The stamp has a distinctive mark of the profession with an indication to recipients and users of engineering documents that the content of the engineering documents as prepared by or under the supervision of a professional engineer.
Therefore, the engineer is answerable for the quality of the work presented.Any signing and stamping of an engineering document by a professional engineer certifies that the professional engineering services rendered has been completely ,adequately and/or reliably performed.
There is no application form for the stamp but a fee as prescribed in the Service Charter.
