Engineers Board of Kenya

The Engineers Rules (Scale of Fees for Professional Engineering Services), 2022 has been gazetted and officially commissioned. Engineers in Kenya now have a guiding document that prescribes the minimum fees for services in the practice.

The Board in collaboration with stakeholders established the Rules pursuant to Section 58(d) of the Engineers Act, 2011 and the Statutory Instruments Act 2013. This strengthens confidence in the quality of professional engineering with technically feasible and sustainable solutions in the practice.

Marked as one of the major milestones at the Board, the Engineers Rules was commissioned on 19^th July 2022 after gazettement on 18^th May 2022.
